Sorbothane material is used in a broad range of industries as the solution to shock and vibration challenges. Sorbothane is a proprietary, viscoelastic material that combines shock absorption, good memory, vibration isolation, and vibration damping characteristics. Sorbothane material combines all these characteristics in a stable material with a long fatigue life. Sorbothane has a superior damping coefficient over a very wide temperature range.
